Return & Exchange Policy

At Monotone, we strive to ensure a seamless shopping experience. Our Exchange and Return Policy is designed to provide clarity and convenience while maintaining the quality standards of our products.

Return Policy

Timeframe for Returns: Returns are accepted within 15 days of delivery for orders placed outside sale periods.

Condition for Returns: Items must be in their original, unwashed condition with all tags attached.

Return Refusals: Monotone reserves the right to decline returns if:

  • Items appear used, washed, or spoiled.

  • Items are damaged (unless they arrived in such condition).

Defective Products: If you receive a defective item, please email unboxing videos and photos to Monotone support. Our Customer Experience Team will assist you promptly.

Return Fee: A reverse shipment fee of ₹100 will be deducted from the refund per order, regardless of the number of items in the order. Shipping charges are non-refundable for both COD and prepaid orders.

Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to your given bank account

Exchange Policy

Timeframe for Exchanges: Exchanges are accepted within 15 days of delivery for orders placed outside sale periods.

Exchange Fee: A reverse shipment charge of ₹100 will apply for all exchanges.

Price Difference in Exchanges:

  • If the new item is priced higher, the difference must be paid upfront via a prepaid method.

  • If the new item is priced lower, the remaining balance will be issued as a credit

Conditions for Exchange and Refund

Covered Issues: We will exchange or refund items with the following defects:

  • Loose seams or stitching

  • Discoloration or fading of fabric

  • Uneven dye application

  • Excessive pilling or fuzzing

  • Misplaced or missing embellishments

  • Severe wrinkling or creasing

  • Tears or frays affecting functionality or appearance

Not Covered: The following issues are not eligible for exchange or refund:

  • Damage caused by improper washing or care

  • Regular wear and tear

  • Alterations made after purchase

  • Damage from accidents, misuse, or neglect

  • Fabric breakdown due to harsh chemicals or environmental factors

Return & Exchange Process

  1. Initiate the return or exchange via the Monotone website by following the prompts.

  2. The process will begin only after our Customer Experience Team approves your request, typically within 48 hours.

  3. Reverse pickups will be arranged upon confirmation.

  4. Ensure items are packaged as they were delivered to you.

  5. Refunds will be issued to your bank account

Order Cancellation

Cancellations are only possible if the order has not been dispatched from our warehouse.
